Council of Governors
All NHS foundation trusts are required to appoint a council of governors, to be responsible for representing the interests of the local community in the management of the trust.
Our Trust has 39 governors, appointed as follows:
- 21 public governors, elected by the Trust’s membership
- 5 staff governors, elected by the Trust’s workforce
up to 13 appointed governors, nominated by the Trust’s partner organisations
