Community Mental Health Team
The Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) are a community based assessment and treatment service for people suffering mental health problems aged between 18 - 65 years.
Treatment is on assessed needs and can be:-

Access to the Home Support Team

Access to residential services

Assessment for hospital admission

Carers Assessment, support and advice for carers

Treatment from home
Access to the CMHT is via your General Practitioner (G.P.) or self-referral through the duty system. Self-referrals will be assessed but contact may be made with your G.P.
The hours of the CMHT are: Monday - Thursday 9am - 5.15pm and Friday 9am - 4.30pm
